In her practice, Abena emphasizes the importance of acceptance—helping clients confront and acknowledge the realities of their experiences without judgment. By reframing these narratives with compassion and insight, she fosters an environment of trust and safety where healing can begin.
Central to Abena’s approach is the concept of being loved—an unconditional positive regard that forms the foundation of her therapeutic relationships. Through this nurturing environment, clients are encouraged to explore their stories, rebuild their sense of self, and develop resilience.
Empowerment is the final pillar of Abena’s methodology, where she helps clients recognize their strengths and capabilities.By empowering individuals to harness their inner resources, she equips them with the tools to navigate challenges and cultivate a sense of agency in their lives.
